Rotalink gearboxes are rugged, reliable and designed to work seamlessly alongside our electric motors to expand application through torque and capability.

We take pride in our gearboxes which are UK designed and manufactured, with a range including Ovoid and Planetary type gearboxes. Through a wide range of customisation options, our engineering team can provide gearboxes to suit an enormous range of applications.

What is a gearbox motor, or gearmotor?

Gearboxes open the door to greater use and maximum efficiency from your electric motor. When paired with a motor, our gearboxes allow you to change the output speed and characteristics to precisely meet the needs of the application.

This is where we find the term 'gearmotor', the combination of an AC or DC electric motor, paired with a reduction gearbox to deliver outstanding torque for its size and weight.

Ovoid Gearboxes

At Rotalink, using advanced polymer materials we have design a range of ovoid gearboxes. Combining spur and planetary gear stages enabled us to produce a gearbox with far greater output torque.

Planetary Gearboxes

A planetary gearbox is a gearbox with the input and output shafts aligned. Planetary gearboxes are used to transfer the largest torque in the most compact of designs.
